The 8408-03 Control Panels offer the complete solution for a cost-effective control system in a single unit. 4 ports are available for connection to Infra-red and RS232 serial controlled devices, 2 of these ports can be programmed for either IR or RS232 while 2 ports remain dedicated to RS232. Each button can be programmed to perform a single event or series of events (macro) either on pressing, releasing or toggling (max 4) the button. These events can include RS232, Infra-red and external relay commands, time delays, button feedback, and advanced features such as Advance Toggle and Bank Enable allowing groups of buttons to be activated.

ProCon Slave Panels can be connected to one of the dedicated RS232 ports to replicate or add more control buttons to an existing Master Panel. 24 buttons can be programmed in any system with the 84X software downloadable from www.procon.co.uk/support as well as Start-Up and Timeout routines to automatically set the environment and preserve lamp life and power.

The 84 Master and 85 Slave Series panels feature buttons which can be labelled according the user requirement and include blue LED backlight as well as programmable On and Flash modes. Groups of button feedback can be created for visual status information.

All connections are on the rear of the panel via screw terminals. The 8408-03 is supplied in either Grey, White or Brushed Silvered Aluminium finish and comes complete with the 12V power supply and an infra-red blink transmitter head. The buttons can be labelled using the selection of preprinted inserts (available separately) or customized by printing onto paper or acetate.
