The 8455-02 is designed for monitoring, control, and
management of a single RS232 serial controlled
device. The bi-directional serial port provides
connection to projectors, plasma and LCD displays,
switchers or local control systems. The RS232 port
is monitored over the network with feedback to
the Procon Site Manager software. Control of any of
these devices can then be made from the Site
Manager software either by scheduling events,
global power on/off command and viewer, or with a
pre-built remote control GUIs. With the 8455-02s two
built-in timers and realtime monitoring of important
data such as lamp-life management of any system
is made even easier. The 8455-02 incorporates a
closed loop port for security and an IR transmit port
which can also be controlled over the network.

The 8455-02 is supplied complete with a licence to
use the Procon Site Manager software which allows
multiple 8450-02 and 8455-02 IP control units to
be easily accessed with simple building and
room views.
