The cable is Van Damme Plasma Grade 75 Ohm coax that utilises the latest technologiesto provide a rugged and flexible video cable.

Van Damme use a higher purity oxygen free copper for the conductors - UltraPure Oxygen Free Copper. The use of this material further improves theconductivity of the cable resulting in faithful and accurate pictureinformation transmission. The conductor insulation is polyethylene which has alow dielectric constant and is particularly stable across a broad frequencyrange. The dielectric constant of a material is a major factor in the cable slow capacitance, while the stability helps maintain constant impedance. Thetype of polyethylene used also has a high crush resistance, which ensures thatthe cables insulator keeps it shape when flexed resulting in less variance inthe characteristic impedance of the overall cable. This insulated conductor isscreened with 96% optical coverage bare oxygen free copper braid and overlaidwith a special nonreflective anti kink PVC composite jacket to give excellentscreening and mechanical strength.

Connectors are Neutrik RCA Phono with goldplated contacts, black chromium shell and feature Neutrikas innovative chucktype strain relief. The connectors have yellow idents in accordance with composite video labeling conventions.
